    Awesome article. I was wondering if I could soak the rind of the orange or lemon in a jar of water overnight and drink it every day as my water source. Will that suffice? Thanks

      Unfortunately, probably not. Limonene should be extracted by a more or less sophisticated steam destillation because, even using that, only a small amount of oil will be obtained. You can watch this video to have a better idea and there are a couple other sources online about how to extract limonene at home. However, water with citrus peel won’t hurt but I would suggest buying the extract if you want to see its benefits.

    I am confused by this statement. Reducing Glutathione would seem to be a bad thing??? I certainly don’t want to aggravate my Prostate.

      This study found that docetaxel+limonene depleted glutathione in prostate cancer cells in order to increase oxidative stress and kill cancer cells. However, this effect was mainly due to docetaxel but increased by limonene. It also mentions that normal prostate cells were not affected.
